BJP's election panel for LS poll announced

Ready to take on the UPA in the next parliamentary elections in Jharkhand, the State BJP announced the names of the election committee for the State. The committee consists of 15 members including party State president Pashupati Nath Singh, Leader to Opposition in the State Assembly Arjun Munda, national vice-president Yaswant Sinha, member of BJP national working committee Karia Munda, Rajya Sabha MP Jayaprakash Narayan Singh, former MP Bapu Apte, former BJP State president and MLA Raghubar Das and Dineshanand Goswami, State general BJP.

The well placed sources said that the State BJP is planning to hold workshop and session for the party spokesperson of different district units of the party in the month of September. The two senior BJP leaders and central spokesperson of the party - Prakash Javedkar and Ravishankar Prasad - would impart training for better media management.

Another committee for the smooth coordination of election management has been constituted where the senior BJP leader and MLA, Saryu Roy has been asked to see the legal aspects.

Another senior BJP leader Chandra Mohan Prasad has been nominated as election coordinator along with Ganesh Mishra who has been placed in the charge of Santhal Pargana. Although, the party has yet to decide the media cell this is likely to be announced the next month.
